Visitor () says: • Warning: Great clothes but VERY snobby staff. I have tried to shop at Mercer on several occasions, and each time they treat me so rudely I wonder why I look like I'm not good enough to be shopping there. I am a kind, polite college professor! What does one need to do to be worthy of a friendly sales associate at Mercer? I see from the way they treat certain customers that they have the potential for customer care, but why not treat everyone with respect? Visitor () says: • Having spent time in NYC I can say that the attitude is often part of the design of a high end shop. The most desired clientele tends to have a snobby attitude and it's felt the staff should echo it, but it's not easy to get right, and doesn't play well with ordinary people. |
