Lost in Seattle Advertising Options

Lost in Seattle provides free listings for over 11,000 Seattle businesses. Whether you're currently listed or not, you can stand out even more by advertising your business to our visitors.

In addition to simply being listed in our directory, there are two ways to advertise your local business on Lost in Seattle:

1. Place a free advertisement

You can advertise your business near the upper-left corner of each business listing in a category of your choice. The upper-left corner is the most desirable position for online advertising.

Your ad will appear 500 times at no charge on Lost in Seattle. If you like how it performs, you can purchase more appearances in bulk, or try a different ad. Purchased appearances are priced as low as 1/2 cent each.

NEW!   2. Be a Day Sponsor

Any approved advertisement (as described above) can become a Day Sponsor Ad for only $75. For one full day (24 hours), your ad will appear in a much larger format, on every listing, every map view, and every category listing on Lost in Seattle.

On most pages, your ad will be the only ad on the page.
On a typical weekday, it will be displayed a total of
7,000-8,000 times to 3,000-4,000 different visitors,
sometimes more. Weekends have slightly less traffic.

Any click-throughs you get are free.

Your ad will begin appearing at 9:00 pm the night before
the day you sponsor, and run until 9:00 pm that night.

You will receive a report that shows which listings your ad appeared on, how many times it appeared on each, how many different visitors it was shown to, and how many times it was clicked.

Day Sponsorship is good for any general awareness campaign such as a grand opening, event announcement, or wherever you want a strong and focused impact on local customers.

To be a Day Sponsor, first Place an Advertisement.
After it is approved, you can purchase a
Day Sponsorship via your Ad Activation Kit.
